Who can advertise on VirtualLetz.com?
Tenants and landlords can advertise on VirtualLetz.com. Tenants can place a wanted ad which describes the sort of property they are looking for - and they can complete a profile/biog paragraph which tells potential landlords a bit more about them e.g. if you have a cat, if you are looking for a period home with a fireplace etc. Landlords can place a property ad which describes the property they are advertising and the sort of tenants they are looking for. The property ad will usually include details such as price, bedrooms and address of property and photos where available.

I am an agent/ developer - can I advertise on VirtualLetz.com?
Yes you can - although VirtualLetz.com is primarily aimed at private landlords and tenants. We ask that before agents/ developers start listing multiple properties they gain our permission first.

I have seen a property/ tenant I like - what do I do now?
Once you have found a property/ wanted ad which you like you can select the 'Contact' button. This sends a private message to the landlord/ tenant who will then read your communication. The landlord/ tenant will then contact you with regards to your post to arrange next steps. VirtualLetz.com is not itself an estate agent we only display ads from our registered users.

Why do I have to communicate via a private message board?
We have created the Private Message Board [PMB] to protect your privacy. You can send and receive emails via the PMB which means you can still contact a landlord/ tenant but it gives you some extra privacy.

I want to view a property how do I arrange that?
You contact the landlord via the PMB to make these arrangements. VirtualLetz.com can only make these arrangements where the landlord has asked them to answer tenant enquiries.

How do I arrange VirtualLetz.com to answer tenant queries?
VirtualLetz.com would be more than happy to assist in answering and dealing with tenant queries, we ask that you purchase the service you want online and we can organise the necessary arrangements with yourself.

I am not getting enough alerts/ too many alerts, what can I do?
If you are not getting enough alerts, you should check your wanted ad in case it is too specific. Remember it is good to have a wish list - but just make sure it is possible! Try broadening your criteria a bit to see if that helps - maybe increase the price you're willing to pay/ radius from train station etc.

If you are getting too many alerts, perhaps you need to think about tightening your criteria - maybe defining the key things you are looking for, or narrowing your price range to make sure you are only getting the ads which are of interest to you.

I am not getting any alerts, what do I do?
Check that you have added us to your safe sender list, you may be receiving the alerts but they are in your spam box. Check your email address when you registered - remember a small typing mistake can mean an email won't get through. If you are still having trouble then contact us and we will look into it for you.
